100 bp DNA Ladder consists of 11 DNA fragments ranging in size from 100-1500 base pairs (bp). 6µl will yield at least 30 ng DNA in any single band. The intensity of the 500 bp band has been increased to serve as a reference for easy identification. . This ladder can also be used side by side with the 100 bp-50 DNA Ladder (Cat. No. M109) for more accurate estimation of the size your DNA fragments.  

DNA SafeStain is safe nucleic acid staining dye for the visualization of double-stranded DNA, single-stranded DNA, and RNA in agarose gels. The dye is developed to replace  Ethidium Bromide (EtBr), a potent mutagen, commonly used in research labs for gel electrophoresis. DNA SafeStain is non-carcinogenic by the Ames test. DNA SafeStain emits green fluorescence when bound to DNA. It has two excitation wavelength peaks when bound to nucleic acid, at 290nm and 490nm.  The emission wavelength for the DNA SafeStain is 530nm.
