NucleoBond® Plasmid Purification
NucleoBond® Plasmid Purification NucleoBond® AX is the latest technology for plasmid purification. It is an anion exchanger developed for routine separation of different classes of nucleic acids and is covered by several patents. The methylaminoethanol (MAE) is used in the NucleoBond® AX. It binds nucleic acids, especially large constructs, more efficiently than commonly used DEAE. All NucleoBond® AX types are resistant to organic solvents (such as alcohol, chloroform, and phenol) and are free of RNase and DNase. NucleoBond® AX colums are easy to handle, and available in Maxi, Mega, and Giga sizes for regular or endotoxin-free (EF) kits. Endotoxin levels below 0.05EU/μg of purified plasmid DNA can be attained.
