Protein Marker: Pre-stained, Mid Range
Mid Range Pre-stained Protein Marker is a mixture of prestained proteins covalently coupled to a blue and red dye. The marker resolves into six distinct bands after SDS-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. The protein concentrations are carefully balanced for clear visualization directly in the gel. The marker is supplied in gel loading buffer and is ready-to-use.
Mid Range Pre-stained Protein Marker is suitable for visualizing proteins during electrophoresis without staining and for monitoring transfer onto membrane.
Instruction for Use
- Thaw the marker at room temperature, or in a 37oC water bath. Do not heat the marker over 60oC, or boil.
- Mix gently to make sure the solution is homogeneous.
- Load the marker directly on a SDS-PAGE gel and run. For mini gel, a minimum of 5µl will be necessary for each lane. For large wells, more volume of the marker will be needed for each application.
