ClonTaq PCR Master Mix
The Ready-to-use ClonTaq PCR Master Mix contains high fidelity thermal stable DNA polymerases in a pre-optimized PCR buffer. Applying the high fidelity thermal stable DNA polymerases in the Master Mix not only ensures the highest fidelity for the PCR product, but also improves the amplification length of the resulting DNA fragments and the robust amplification efficiency. Amplified DNA contains blunt-ended DNA fragments. The Master Mix is useful when cloning long and accurate DNA fragment such as promoter and other important DNA regions. It is particularly useful for cDNA cloning and other genetic studies as well.
The ClonTaq PCR Master Mix is in the 2X format. For most of the PCR cloning experiments with this Master Mix, only template, primers and H2O will be needed. The Master Mix also contains an inert, non-toxic red dye to visualize mixing; which also allows direct loading on gels after PCR for electrophoresis.
