genoTaq Master Mix
The genoTaq Master Mix is a specifically designed, pre-optimized, ready-to-use PCR reaction master mix containing everything needed for PCR experiments. This master mix is especially useful for screening gene knock-out cells and mice.
The genoTaq Master Mix is in the 2X format. Users only need to add template, primers and H2O. An extra 25mM magnesium solution is also provided for additional fine adjustments, if needed. The product contains a non-toxic red dye for easy loading and gel electrophoresis. No extra loading buffer is needed.
The genoTaq DNA polymerase, simplified as genoTaq, used in this master mix, is a thermostable enzyme that replicates DNA at 74°C and remains active even after incubation at 95°C. It has very strong 5' - 3' DNA polymerase activity with a fast extension rate. The final product of genoTaq is a mixture of DNA fragments containing 3'-adenosine (A) overhang and blunt ends.
