The Shredder has a Capped Spin Column. A unique polymer-shredding filter is embedded in a microcentrifuge spin-column. Cell or tissue lysate is loaded into the Shredder Spin Column to be homogenized at high speed centrifugation. The homogenized lysate collected can be used for down stream applications, such as protein and RNA purifications.
